How do retractable fly screens work on windows?

They are installed as a permanent fixture just like the windows. When you open the window you can pull the fly screen down. It glides up and down with ease, enabling you to be able to open the window fully.

No...not with us, they are very affordable and because you are not at a risk of losing or damaging them because you want to clean the outside of the window, they will stay in shape a lot longer than normal screens. They add more value to the home because they are considered a permanent fixture. Starting price of $170.

Yes, however if you are confident that you have supplied the correct sizes, we will cut them for you prior to despatch for a small additional fee.

We have DIY kits which are easy to follow and any home handy-person can install. All that is needed to install most of the kits are a few simple hand tools and roughly half an hour of your time.

Yes, if you are located in the Perth Metro area we offer an installation service for an extra charge.

Yes, a lot of Retractable Screens are retro fitted and therefore all homes, from heritage homes to modern homes, are suitable for our Retractable Screen.

How long does it take to receive the screens once I have placed an order?

Our DIY kits can freighted anywhere in Australia with Australia Post, and are despatched within 48 hours of receiving full payment.
 
If we are installing the screens then we will make an appropriate time for an installer to come to your home or business.

What are the screens made of?

The retractable insect screen frames are made of heavy duty extruded aluminum which is then powdercoated in white or any colour of your choice. The flexible insect mesh is fiberglass and therefore not fire retardant.

What maintenance is required to keep my retractable screens operating correctly?

Our Retractable Screens are a low maintenance product.  The protective housing protects the mesh from dust, dirt and sun damage when the screen is not in use.
